Fall has arrived - and with the change of seasons comes an incredible new selection of Canadian-made indie titles for Nintendo Switch!

From the creator of Celeste, the critically acclaimed battle-platformer TowerFall has arrived on Nintendo Switch. This game was built for couch multiplayer, centring around hilarious, intense versus matches, where up to six players battle each other in fast-paced 2D archery.

The core mechanics are simple and accessible - easy to learn, but hard to master - with a huge amount of variation in gameplay, arrow types, power-ups, and levels. And for the first time, Madeline from Celeste is a playable character - along with her dark counterpart, Badeline!

The Messenger: Quebec City

First presented as an 8-bit action platformer with a simple story, The Messenger transforms into an epic time travelling tale, eventually revealing itself as a 16-bit Metroidvania that is packed with replay value and deadpan humour. The story begins as a demon army besieges a young ninja’s village, leading him to venture through a cursed world to deliver a scroll that is paramount to his clan’s survival.

With an original soundtrack by renowned chiptune composer Rainbowdragoneyes, along with meticulously designed 8-bit and 16-bit sprites, animations, and backgrounds, The Messenger is a brilliant action-platformer in the spirit of the classics.

In this 2D co-op action-platformer, the world of New Haven is a wasteland. The ARC empire destroyed it with a single Mutagen Bomb that transformed its creatures to mutated monsters, and players are tasked with joining the Gunsword heroes as they become the last hope for the United Resistance.
