Have you caught Tetris mania all over again?

Good news, you can play on Nintendo Switch!

If you’re like everyone else, you may have caught an eye for Tetris recently. We wanted to send a friendly reminder that you can go back in time and revisit Tetris - the iconic block-slotting puzzle game - on your Nintendo Switch! 

Everyone has access to Tetris 99 as a free digital download through the eShop that includes an online mode that is a special offer for Nintendo Switch Online members where you can compete in a large-scale, 99-player battle. Plus, with a Nintendo Switch Online membership, you have access to a collection of retro titles from systems past, including the original Tetris game for Game Boy. Simply follow these steps:

  • Go to Nintendo Switch Online on your Nintendo Switch
  • Click NES, Super NES, Game Boy, Nintendo 64, and Game Boy Advance from the menu
  • Under Game Archives click GB
  • Scroll down to Tetris (from 1989)

It’s that simple to revisit nostalgic favourites from the past!
