VICTORIANS KICK OFF SALES OF THE LEGEND OF ZELDA: TEARS OF THE KINGDOM AT GAMESTOP LAUNCH CELEBRATION

On May 12, the highly-anticipated The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom video game will officially launch in Canada. To celebrate, Nintendo of Canada is inviting local fans - who are eager to get their hands on this epic adventure - to an evening launch event at GameStop, located in the Hillside Shopping Centre. 

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is the newest entry to the beloved and iconic Legend of Zelda franchise and has been named one of the most anticipated game launches of 2023. In this sequel to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild game, players will decide their own path through the sprawling landscapes of Hyrule and the mysterious islands floating in the vast skies above. The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom launches exclusively for the Nintendo Switch family of systems, and will be available to purchase as of 9:00 p.m. tonight in British Columbia.

As fans wait to purchase the game, they’ll have the chance to enjoy Legend of Zelda trivia and engage with other fans. The event will also feature a host of giveaways, including prizing for those who attend in a Legend of Zelda-themed costume (while supplies last).
